Three generations. One kitchen.
Lola Carmen opened the original Casa Lola on this very street in 1998. She cooked everything herself — adobo on Mondays, kare-kare on Saturdays, lechon kawali whenever the order came in.
Twenty-eight years later, her daughter Maritess and grandson Paolo run the kitchen. The recipes haven't changed. The garlic rice is still pounded fresh every morning. The bibingka still comes on a banana leaf.
